Return to Haiti

Dear Family and Friends,

Welcome to the new blogsite!

As many of you know... (and many more do not), I am returning to Haiti this morning to continue the work I started in January.  I'm still working on alternative charcoal, but in a couple different regions now.  For the next 5.5 weeks I'll be building relationships with partners, conducting consumer surveys and sales tests, learning more about the local charcoal supply chain, and planning a business pilot for later this year.

Afterward, I'll continue to work on our dissemination plan at a summit in Colorado (July) and another conference in Boston (August), then returning to Haiti for a 2-month kick-off of our larger pilot.

So stayed tune!  This will be my active blog for my travels and project this year.  I'll post more often (twice per week minimum) with shorter content.... so let me know what you want to hear about!
